Parents
and the wider community
We encourage parental involvement at every level within pre-school,
parents are the childs first educator. We strongly believe that parents
know their child best, about their strenghts and weaknesses. We like
to build on childrens achievements thus far, so parental inputs into
play plans are really important.
We like to draw up and revise each childs play plans with their parents
when they have thier rota day. At the end of term we have coffee mornings
which give all parents the chance to look at their childs portfolios.

Parents / Carers Rota
We have a rota for helpers in the group, this provides additional
staffing for the pre-school and rota duty enables parents to see how
the pre-school operates. At the beginning of each term parents will
be given a rota showing when they are on duty. Please tell the Playleader
if you require a specific day or date, or need to swap. There is specific
advice for parents staying in pre-school on rota duty, please read
the planning sheet on the notice board. |
